Two Day Interview Assignment
1) Get to know your new group members.
2) Pick a topic that is relevant to the school, or this neighborhood (please take this seriously).
3) Develop some interview questions based on that topic.
4) Practice interviewing. Do not film yet! During Practice, make sure that everyone has a chance to act as an interviewer, and everyone has a chance to be interviewed. Additionally, everyone should watch other group member interviewing and being interviewed. In other words, take turns and watch the process if you are not one of the two people involved in the current interview.
5) Refine your questions, and develop some follow-up questions based on your experience.
6) Figure out how you are going to divide up the workload. Who will be the interviewer, interviewee, camera person, and editor.
If you have time) Film your interview. Be sure to use multiple camera angles, but only one camera. If you need to borrow a camera, please let me know. Also, if you need to borrow a lavalier microphone or a tripod -- we only have a few of each -- please let me know.
If you have time) Edit your footage.
Aim for a two to five minute video. Our goal is to watch our interviews next Monday, September 24th, 2018
