If you have not done so yet, finish all of the exercises. The last exercises will be graded on Monday, October 5th, 2018
If you have finished your exercises, work on your project
Use pencil or pen on paper to create A MINIMUM OF SIXTEEN COMPLETELY DIFFERENT examples of potential logos. Your logo must include letters. You could use your initials. YOU MUST COMPLETE THIS STEP BEFORE MOVING ON TO STEP TWO!!!
Select a MINIMUM of 3 of your favorite logos from step one, and recreate them - use the Type, Pen, Pencil, Line Segment, Paintbrush, Blob Brush, and Shape(s) tools to do this.
For each of those 3 logos, you are going to create a MINIMUM of 3 versions of each; for a total of 9. (Yes, you can do more!)
REMEMBER TO:
1. Keep it SIMPLE
2. Keep it MEMORABLE
3. Keep it TIMELESS
4. Keep it APPROPRIATE
and Keep it BLACK and WHITE (see the top 9 logo examples from the image below for a visual example of what is expected from you)
Talk to your ELBOW NEIGHBORS and get their feedback on which of your logos they like best (don't forget to ask them WHY they like the logos they do).
Using their feedback, pick your favorite TWO logos and play with adding color to them in some way.
* Copy each logo and PASTE TWICE
* On each copy, play with color in a DIFFERENT WAY.
---this means you will now have a MINIMUM of 13 logos on your file (9 original and now 4 that you've played with color on)
Copy your favorite logo design, and paste it into its own art board. Enlarge the design so that it is as large as the art board. Save your copied logo as a transparent gif. Go to Zazzle.com, and create some products with your logo on them.
